Queensland born and bred, Ashleigh grew up in Rockhampton playing sports like Hockey, Cricket and Swimming. It wasn’t until her school needed an extra player for the Indoor Cricket team that her sporting career really kicked off.
Since 2006 Ashleigh has represented both Queensland and Australia, receiving Player of the Series at 2x World Cups (2014 & 2017) and Player of the Series at 2x Australasia Cup tours of Sri Lanka.
Ashleigh appreciates that she has been fortunate to play Indoor Cricket whilst being employed by the Royal Australian Air Force. This has helped fund her sporting trips across the world.
This year Ashleigh is taking a step back from international representation to focus on her new career with Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.
