Debra Eckersley is a Minerva Mentor and Group Executive - People & Culture at Bank of Queensland.
Prior to BOQ, Deb had a long career with PwC including leading their People & Change Consulting team and a member of the Australian firm’s Executive Board as the Managing Partner - Human Capital. Deb regularly consulted to many of Australia’s largest companies on complex people challenges including advising their Boards on performance and pay. Deb is passionate about gender equality and implemented many new approaches at PwC, including transparency and targeted actions on gender pay equity, all-roles-flex, and encouraging men to take up parental leave and flexible work.
Deb has a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and member of Chief Executive Women. Deb is also a director of UN Women National Committee Australia and an avid supporter of sport especially AFL, netball and everything Olympics.
